Dear Abdulrahman, Greetings from THE DANNA Langkawi! Thank you very much for choosing THE DANNA Langkawi. It is our utmost pleasure to be chosen for your holiday in Langkawi. In the interest of continually enhancing our facilities and services available to guests, we have just been informed by the owners that there is a plan for extension of the hotel involving the addition of 10 luxury villas and a new restaurant & bar. The construction of these exciting new additions unfortunately will happen during your stay with us. The works will commence in June 2016 and is expected to last for 18 months; we expect all these additions to be completed by November 2017. Here, we sincerely apologize for the short notice as we just received the news from our owners. Having said that, we have expedited plans and solutions to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. I am personally heading these contingency plans together with my team to ensure that every necessary measure will be taken to minimize inconveniences from this development. Accordingly, your accommodation has been allocated farthest possible from the construction site to limit possible disruption during your stay. Should you choose to make alternative arrangements we would be happy to assist. However should you decide to cancel your booking, a full refund will be made to you. These highly anticipated enhancements will be right next to the hotel building, adjacent to the swimming pool. Proper hoardings will be erected at approximately 8 meters away from the edge of the outdoor Jacuzzi, being the farthest point of the pool. There will not be any piling works during the construction period, this is done to reduce the disruptions. Other facilities including THE DANNA Fitness, THE DANNA Spa, Kids’ Club and Billiard Room are not affected. We understand that this is development maybe of some concern, we seek your kind understanding.
